The Cooper Upper Elementary School Community is dedicated to meeting the individual needs of every child, every day with desire, dedication, and determination.

  • Office Hours: 7:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.
  • Student Arrival: 8:15 a.m.- 8:25 a.m.
  • Student Day: 8:25 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. 
  • Half Day: 8:25 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

For the safety of our students, please sign in at the office upon entering our school.
We ask that students do not arrive before 8:15 a.m., as there is no adult supervision prior to that time.

Absences

Absences should be reported to school.

OPTION 1 (Our Preferred Method): 
Cooper Attendance- Google Form

OPTION 2:
Call 734-744-2710
State your name.
State your child's teacher.
State your child's first and last name (spell the last name).
State the reason your child will be absent/late.
State the number of days your child will be absent.

Parents/guardians will be contacted by an automated telephone service at approximately 9:00 a.m. if their child is absent from school.

Late Sign-In: Students arriving after 8:25 a.m. will be considered tardy and need to be checked in on Chromebooks in lobby.

P.M. Absences: P.M. absences require a parent/guardian to come in the building to sign the student out on the Chromebook in the lobby. Students will not be called down to the office prior to the parent/guardians arrival.
