I grew up in Troy, Michigan and graduated from Troy Athens High School in 1990. I received my undergraduate degree from Wayne State University and my master's degree from Marygrove College. I have taught for 20 years, this being my 19th year teaching for Livonia Public Schools.
I have been married to my husband, John for 19 years. He teaches 5th grade at Johnson Upper Elementary. We live in Livonia and have 3 children: Paityn (12th grader at Franklin), Luke (10th grader at Stevenson) and Drew (2nd grade at Roosevelt).
I am an avid runner. I also enjoy reading, Starbuck's white chocolate mochas, Tim Horton's coffee, and spending time with my extended family. My family loves to travel, especially to Disney World and Chicago.
