All About Mrs. de Carli

Guitar               All About Mrs. deCarli

Welcome to the 2017/2018 school year!

My name is Mrs. deCarli and this is my twenty-first year of teaching. I taught nine years at Grant Elementary and twelve years at Cooper Upper Elementary. I am also known as the "Math Queen" so you may see me roaming the halls and wearing my crown.  I am married and have three grown children; two sons, and a daughter. In addition, I have two grandsons and two granddaughters. Our pet family includes, two cats named Jack and Sassy, and an 8 year old Shiba Inu doggie named Nikko.
My husband and I enjoy traveling to Austria, where he lived most of his life.
I love teaching and learning new things and have many interests. I play guitar, dabble with writing songs and photography. In addition, I love gardening, walking, cooking and crafts. This summer my husband and I camped in Port Crescent State Park and kayaked to Turnip Rock. It was a beautiful trip and I would love to camp there again!

If you need to reach me I am easily reached via email at: or send in a note. (My email is checked daily.)
You can also leave a voice message at 734-744-2710, although I will be able to check my email much quicker. If you have an urgent message for me, such as, a message for your child regarding early pick up and you are calling the day of for example, please remember that I may not get it immediately as I am busy working with the children. Call the office and they will contact me via intercom.

I look forward to meeting you soon!
